Meet Jeanne Kavinski, Author Of This Newsletter
A strategic thinker and passionate pursuer of personal growth and development, coupled with a STEM career in natural resources, who sees the big picture vision and shares “Leadership Lessons from Trees,’ that’s Jeanne Kavinski in a nutshell.
Jeanne has a B.S. and M.S. degree in Forestry with majors in Resources Management and Quantitative Silviculture from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
Jeanne is a John C. Maxwell Team Certified DISC Consultant, Coach, Speaker, and Trainer. She is a member of the Society of American Foresters, the International Society of Arborists, and the New Jersey Society of Licensed Tree Experts and has served on boards of directors. She holds the credentials of ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, SAF Certified Forester, New Jersey and Maryland Licensed Tree Expert, and a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator.
Jeanne’s expertise in owning her own consulting business and with government agencies as well as the nonprofit sector, demonstrates her versatility in leadership, community building and communications.
When not in hot pursuit of developing leaders, Jeanne can be found enjoying family and friends, singing and traveling.
She founded her own urban forestry consulting company, volunteered as a commissioner for the Fanwood, N. J. Shade Tree Commission, was a committee member for the Grove of Remembrance at Liberty State Park.
